I bought an Urban Arrow Family cargo bike with Connected+ during the promotional period (1 to 31 March 2024) but my extra year of insurance is not active. How do I resolve this?

Have you bought an Urban Arrow Family Connected+ cargo bike during the launch campaign period (1 to 31 March 2024) in the Netherlands or Belgium. Then, in addition to the free year of standard theft insurance, you are entitled to an additional year of theft insurance from Laka. 2 years of insurance, in other words. 

If all is well, you have downloaded the Urban Arrow app. And you have signed up for both your bike and insurance via the QR code and app registration. 

If you did this during the promotional period, you will have received confirmation from Laka via email that you are entitled to an additional year of insurance. Your insurance will then automatically be extended for another year after expiry. You will find confirmation of this in the welcome e-mail from Lakal

If you did buy the bicycle during the promotional period (purchase invoice date before 31 March 2024) but were delivered or activated later, you can still claim the extra year of insurance. 

In this case, please submit a service request to our customer service department or send an email to service@urbanarrow.com. It is important that you describe your problem well and send a purchase invoice which shows both the purchase date and the frame number. Urban Arrow and Laka will then ensure that your extra year of insurance is activated. And you can continue cycling carefree.
