Yes, Melia baby seats are suitable for the FamilyNext, but you will need a specific mounting kit. Read below which kit fits your bike model.

Yes, they are! However, please note that the installation process for the Urban Arrow FamilyNext is different from the Urban Arrow Family.

Because of this, Melia has developed two separate mounting kits. To install a Melia baby or toddler seat safely, you will need a specific mounting kit depending on which bike model you own:

  • For the Urban Arrow Family: use the standard Melia Urban Arrow mounting kit.
  • For the Urban Arrow FamilyNext: use the specially designed Melia Mounting Kit Urban Arrow NEXT (5-point).

The dedicated FamilyNext mounting kit features metal safety clamps, making it quick and easy to remove the seat whenever you need the extra space in your box. Both the seats and the specific mounting kits can be ordered directly via the Melia website.
